parboil fine green beans and put them in a baking tray
put fish (salmon is good for texture and omega 3's) on top
lob in cherry tomatoes (on vine if feeling poncey)
snip over a few anchovies (soak in milk if they're the ones in salt)
add a few black olives and a drizzle of olive oil

10 mins in very hot oven

serve with ice cold white wine or water if want extreme lo-cal.

my mum made that for us bundy! it was yum.

this isn't fish, or low cal, but i currently have chicken/stock/cream/spuds/asparagus/gruyere baking in the oven & it smells bloody delicious.

hc, i think it's jamie, i'm not claiming it for my own

cod, use double layers of foil as steamer, in oven, say with thinly sliced fennel & a slug of noilly prat or white wine, plus garlic & few slices of seasonal veg.

skate with capers - fish heaven

CountessDracula · 23/01/2006 20:49

Yes but the other day I suggested that someone pan-fried something and got sarky comments about where else would you fry in a shoe? or the like. So I thought for the culinarily challenged I would spell it out
