must be totally foolproof and allow me to make it the day before i cook it...is this in any way possible?????

sophable, you have to get away from the idea of 10 being a problem. It isn't really, it is quite a small number, I bet you cook for 6 all the time and it isn't much of a leap really. you just seem to land on things that don't work well for 10 (like wellington and lamb shoulder!).

I think the key thing is not the number, but being able to cook and serve it all effortlessly, otherwise you will be stressed out of your head.

f*ck have been rumbled so badly, had to slam computer shut and now he is tipped off (think he thinks i'm being horrible about him on here but is bemused a i am laughing maniacally)

have decided. am going to do mini beef wellingtons as have done it before and you can make them in advance and don't have the carving to worry about and they are v impressive but actually not that hard to make.

and i just cannot be doing with faffing about what anymore when i have so much else to be dealing with (veg???)

his antennae are well and truly up though.
