Instant? If so, Carte Noire decaf is nice.

SquishyCinnamonSwirls · 26/10/2011 18:35

Instant or proper?

TheGashlycrumbTinies · 26/10/2011 18:35

Ground Lavazza, use both caffeinated and dacaf.

beachholiday · 26/10/2011 18:36

It,s hard to find a good decent strong one - the decaff Ikea sell in their food hall was surprisingly nice (I went through a fair few looking for a strong one). And decently produced.

BananaPie · 26/10/2011 18:38

I've never found a decaf that tastes of anything much! You don't say why you can't have proper coffee, but if you're pregnant, I think you're ok to have 1 cup a day of the real stuff!

simonthedog · 26/10/2011 18:52

yes am pregnant, will still have a cup a day, but usually have about 5. Need instant and proper recommendations. I have a Tassimo machine I use but they have discontinued the decaf ones that I used when pregnant before.

Tesco gold is slightly better thsn most Grin

beachholiday · 26/10/2011 19:05

Another vote for Carte Noir if it's instant.

Rooble · 26/10/2011 19:09

Another vote for Lavazza if it's ground

SquishyCinnamonSwirls · 26/10/2011 19:12

Ground Lavazza here too and then Douwe Egberts instant decaf.

jenduck · 26/10/2011 19:24

Carte Noir has my vote too!

simonthedog · 26/10/2011 20:46

Thank you all for your replies I will buy the ground lavazza and the instant carte noir and douwe egberts to try. Here's hoping my withdrawal isn't too bad.

Carte Noire instant is really good and I love good coffee!

bruffin · 26/10/2011 20:53

We usually have kenco, but agree doue egberts is good.
I have the dolce gusto and the decade espresso is good

bruffin · 26/10/2011 20:54

That should say decaf not decade

Willowisp · 27/10/2011 09:48

my fave instant coffee is Necafe Decaff Alta Rica - nice & strong, yum. I buy a couple of jars when offer as not cheap, but I loathe cafe hag (do they still make it?) carte noire & Clipper decaf. Used to quite like Waitrose's Gold Decaf too.

VeryStressedMum · 27/10/2011 14:02

I only like Gold Blend decaf, and I've tried a fair few. But you can't beat the Dolce Gusto pods for any sort of coffee Smile

jojomom · 27/10/2011 19:40

Another vote for Carte Noir, I love"full fat" coffee, especially Costa but only drink it when out and about. While at home/work I enjoy a carte noir.

jojomom · 27/10/2011 22:48

Carte Noire

warmandwooly · 29/10/2011 13:12

Lidl

I like Taylor's decaf! (Proper coffee)

desperatehousewife2 · 02/10/2015 16:09

I vote Kenco!

Branleuse · 02/10/2015 16:14

Clipper

Lenuccia · 04/10/2015 14:52

Taylor's decaff is really nice with a good distinctive flavour.
Illy decaff is very strong if you like that
