Apparenatly, i should be eatign peanut butter to get protein now i'm PG.

good plan - haven't had it for years, but recall quite liking it when Ihad it last.

Just sent DH to get some.
he got to the shop and texted me "smooth or crunchy?"
Confused how the hell am i supposed to know?

Which do you prefer?
(i just know whatever he gets, i'll decide i don't like the texutre....)

mother to be - sounds incredibly grown-up.

Had me worried for a minute Grin

Mother-to-be is very grown up. Nothing to stop you letting your hair down and acting like you're five once they are here though Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 17:33

Nickle. Knowing how bad you are at these things I should not be surprised to hear that you have tried to put the nappy in the baby making it nappy, baby, vest!

Still crunchy. And always KFS.
X

it would make it a bit easier to clean, though.....

ilovesprouts · 29/03/2011 13:37

both yummy

pipplin · 29/03/2011 14:39

Oh smooth I think! Now I need peanut butter and jam immediately! I don't have any :(
I do have donuts? They will have to do.

nickelbabyhatcher · 29/03/2011 14:44

now I want donuts! Envy

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 29/03/2011 16:35

Jam or no jam?!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 29/03/2011 16:39

Actually because you are PG, your donut choice could extend to jam, ham or spam?

KnottyLocks · 29/03/2011 16:40

Jam every time.

And none of those custard abominations.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 29/03/2011 16:46

Knotty. I agree with you on something Shock but obviously not cutlery arrangements custard doughnuts are the spawn of the devil.

Do you think a preg Nickle will like a spam doughnut?!

stasha · 29/03/2011 17:29

mmmmm....crunchy and or smooth! I'll take both....though at a real push, I would have to say Skippy Smooth is a little bit of Heaven x

nickelbabyhatcher · 30/03/2011 12:17

I don't want ham or spam - i'm veggie, and i'm not planning on giving that up if I get cravings, either! Shock

It'll be more like jam and cabbage or egg....

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2011 13:27

MMMMMmmmmmmmm cabbage doughnuts. Confused

My friend is a veggie and when she had cravings that went against her veggie principals she used to eat chicken crisps, cos there is no chicken in them!

How long before this poor poor poor poor poor gorgeous baby arrives Nickle?

MerryMarigold · 30/03/2011 13:35

Actually in Africa you can get peanut butter donuts and they are the best! They are not as soft as UK, something between a bagel and a donut, deep fried obv, slightly sweet, with peanut butter - delish.

nickelbabyhatcher · 30/03/2011 13:40

i might concede to bacon crisps - there's no meat in them either!
and don't worry, meat-flavoured crisps really don't taste like meat!

Merry that's disgusting Confused and [boak]

MerryMarigold · 30/03/2011 13:50

You have to taste them to fully experience. Trust me, if you are foodie, you will love. [Maybe not when pg though!] Trust me, I am not a peanut butter and jam person, but I can go for apple and cheese and fruit cake and cheese.

nickelbabyhatcher · 30/03/2011 13:54

okay - i'm only just entering into the joy of peanut butter, so i'll wait a while for that! Grin

I did have some peanut butter M&Ms once that my friend bought me from America - now they were lovely!

In Israel you can get peanut butter crisps. They are AMAZING. Kind of wotsits but PB instead of cheese. Lush!

JoyceBarnaby · 30/03/2011 20:33

After reading this thread, I now want:

Peanut butter (smooth - ideally with jam, on a bagel)
Ham
Spam
Doughnuts
Bacon crisps
Gherkin and chippy chips

I realise no-one has mentioned gherkins yet - it's just that this thread has made me hungry and I'be craved them throughout this pregnancy!!

JoyceBarnaby · 30/03/2011 20:34

I've, obviously, not I'be

RatherBeOnThePiste · 30/03/2011 21:03

Because of this thread I had to have peanut butter ( crunchy ) on toast for lunch!

KnottyLocks · 30/03/2011 22:58

Someone very kindly gave me a donut at work today.

Only bloody apple Shock

Counted it towards my five a day Grin

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 11:29

Grin Knotty -good show.

Joyce - [boak]

I feel like i've got something in my throat, like a big bag of air or something, blocking off my throat. therefore I don't want to eat anything, but i feel weak
I think i'm just going to go off food and only eat what can be fed through a drip.
