Apparenatly, i should be eatign peanut butter to get protein now i'm PG.

good plan - haven't had it for years, but recall quite liking it when Ihad it last.

Just sent DH to get some.
he got to the shop and texted me "smooth or crunchy?"
Confused how the hell am i supposed to know?

Which do you prefer?
(i just know whatever he gets, i'll decide i don't like the texutre....)

crunchy - anything else is wrong wrong wrong.

BellaBearisWideAwake · 28/03/2011 15:25

Strawberry is wrong and you are mad.

By the way, don't put peanut butter in the fridge. My top tip of the day.

MarineIguana · 28/03/2011 15:25

Smooth, because I like peanut butter, but I don't like it to be too much like a handful of peanuts - it's got to be its own thing IYSWIM.

The best is bogstandard/own-brand, no-frills smooth, on lovely soft squishy white bread, with real butter on the bread as well. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

nickelbabyhatcher · 28/03/2011 15:33

i don't put any spreads in the fridge (apart from the cheese and butter ones, obv)

Piste YANBU

First time I've ever said that Grin

BellaBearisWideAwake · 28/03/2011 15:43

I shouldn't. But peanut butter in particular goes like cement of you put it in the fridge.

Thanks for this thread - I've just enjoyed my toast with PB and jam with a lovely glass of cold milk! Inspiring!

KnottyLocks · 28/03/2011 15:44

Oh the KFS gang together...

made me a bit teary

nickelbabyhatcher · 28/03/2011 15:45

me too Knotty

I shouldn't be getting emotional.

ooh, Piste , while you're here - I'm PG! Grin

AutumnWitch · 28/03/2011 15:47

Definitely crunchy - or if you fancied something different, you can get hazlenut, cashew and almond butters from health food shops.

And then there is whole earth chocolate hazlenut spread - crunchy nutella Grin

nickelbabyhatcher · 28/03/2011 15:47

(just realised that my OP has got the news that i just imparted to Piste, but i'm sure she'll understand)

OP posts:
nickelbabyhatcher · 28/03/2011 15:47

i do like nutella - i don't think i'd like crunchy chocolate spread though.

It's like the inside of a ferrero rocher - I can't have it in the house or there's a horrible accident involving, me, the jar and a spoon...

BellaBearisWideAwake · 28/03/2011 15:51

without the jam, PB is too cloying for me. Have to drink gallons of milk with it.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 15:51

Nickel - a baby!! Do you think that's wise??!!
< Pants, vests, socks >

Yaaayyy - Knotty agrees with me!!!!

nickelbabyhatcher · 28/03/2011 15:55
Grin i don't think it'swise, but it's a bit late for that! i will allow pants, vests, socks.

right, just had my peanut butter sandwich (made him go and make one as well - he made me a whole sandwich instead of half of one Hmm but i've made him eat the rest of it (there's only so much you can fit in my bottomless pit!)
I liked it.

Crunchy it is then!

Piste, only when it comes to Crunchy and the trauma of buying jeans. Don't get cocky Grin

Pants, socks, vests

KnottyLocks · 28/03/2011 15:58

Huzzah!

nickelbabyhatcher · 28/03/2011 15:59

vests, socks, pants makes more sense wordlyish

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 16:48

Knotty. We can safely say you now agree with most of what I say. Yaay. Go me. KFS.

Ahem. Pants vests socks.

And always crunchy.
And when this poor poor baby arrives remember it goes
Baby, nappy, vest

Because you know how bad you are at getting sequences right.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/03/2011 16:49

Obviously the second part of my post was directed at the mother to be Grin
