It was my craving during pregnancy with ds. I'd just moved here and a new friend, someone I hardly knew, was going to the US and asked, rather innocently, if there was anything I wanted him to bring back for me, not expecting I'd say yes. He had to drag back with him a big box of Capn Crunch!

I used to live in the US and LOVED that cereal. I swear they put drugs in it to make it so adictive! Evertime we went back, the diet would go out the window and I would gorge on it! I hgave managed to wean myself from it now though. Hello, my name is Ilana and I am a Capn Crunch - aholic. My last crunch was 4 years ago

expatinscotland · 30/08/2005 10:38

It's only good w/those phoney pink berries.

princesspeahead · 30/08/2005 21:43

now will anyone here admit to ever eating Lucky Charms cereal? "They're magically delicious!" HOW many colours and E numbers do you think THEY have in a packet????!

Nbg · 30/08/2005 21:45

Do you ever go to the Trafford Centre YG?

If so Selfridges sell some of the American foods. I went last week, they had shelves full of Oreo's and other stuff.

IlanaK · 30/08/2005 21:47

Yes, I admit to the LUcky CHarms. BUt I only liked the marshmellowy bits!

I'm sure your delightful little angels will behave if mummy buys them Oreos

I might be going again in the next couple of weeks, if I do I'll get you some.

sansouci · 30/08/2005 21:51

...always after me Lucky Charms! the frosted oat cereal with sweet surprises! (yeah, i'll say!) Hearts, moons, stars, clovers... magically delicious.

How sicko is it that i can remember these nauseating American tv commercials after about 35 years? i've been brain-washed.

princesspeahead · 30/08/2005 21:55

I can sing them ALL sanssouci.
How about "I'm Hot!" "I'm thirsty!" "Let's call Koolaid!!!!"... huge fat man in strange round suit bursts through wall.... "Oh YEAHHHHHHHHH!"
