Not attention seeking, just thought I'd clear off in the proper way,

I've had some amazing things happen since I've been here, good solid friends, life changing things , which I will always be grateful for.

I don't think I'm sensitive flower, I've always been more concerned about upsetting other people than worried for my own feelings.

Having my opinions and viewpoints pulled apart or mocked I can withstand, but to be belittled by people I feel I have chatted over sometime now actually hurts my feelings, - so, after sobbing into my cocoa for the past hour I know it's time to go.

It's surprising the things that finally make you flounce, innit?

I really want another dog. Do you reckon it would be the same level of madness as having another c&c?

SconeInSixtySeconds · 12/02/2013 20:00

Aww Maryz - that is rather sweet. Like those people who swear blind that white feathers come from the beyond..

If it makes you feel better we used to find dog hairs when we moved to a different house in Australia that the dogs never lived in.

IamtheZombie · 12/02/2013 20:14

Zombie has just read this entire thread. It has made her extremely sad.

She hopes Fenton will soon feel able to return.

She hopes the stirrers will stop.

I have recovered from Pancake rage now. But refused to make USELESS husband any tea, so he is sulking into a can of Carlsberg.

Even MuttDog has refused to eat his abominations - and she eats rabbit poo Shock Smile

DD has made me promise to make English and American pancakes for breakfast on Saturday. I MAY have forgiven DH by then.

CheerfulYank · 12/02/2013 20:51

The hair is really the only thing putting me off. CheerfulDog (pics on profile I think) is the lovliest middle-aged boy in the world but is mostly golden retriever. The hair is ridiculous.

SconeInSixtySeconds · 12/02/2013 20:56

I have a soft spot for golden retrievers but their hair is twice as long as Labradors you know...

Thus half the hair...

Gwan...

CheerfulYank · 12/02/2013 21:12

Yours are lovely Scone! :)

Golden hair is floaty though...it is v long but it kind of just wafts about until you can suck it up. Lab hair seems sticky by comparison.

Well, I'm only just back to this thread after popping around to my electrician neighbour to ask him to fix my dishwasher, and after being ploughed with vodka, all I can say is CheerfulYank, you must get a Labrador puppy.
In fact, everybody on this thread should get a puppy or a kitten.
That is all.

ThePathanKhansAmnesiac · 12/02/2013 21:31

I want a Glen of Immal terrier, have you heard of them Maryz? They are an Irish breed.
I meet one in the park, she,s a dote.Very smart, but placid, short little stocky body and a lovely coat, in wheaten or grey and they don,t malt.
They can have a problem with eyes, but good breeders will have done x breeding carefully.
I wish i could do the linky thing, they are a smasher of a wee dog.

HesterBurnitall · 12/02/2013 21:35

Here's a link, Pathan.

OliviaMumsnet · 12/02/2013 22:06

@BIWI

. Can we all stop with the snideyness, insinuations and general goading please? If you know something, either keep it to yourself or spit it out so that others can confirm/deny.

Please use your REPORT buttons people. Thanks to those of you who have done so - we will be mailing you shortly but its taken a while to get through this thread.

I am actually meant to be at the lovely wedding of a dear friend in sunny S Africa.
But for various I am not. I am here, and thus rather grumpy about that with a diagnosedbyMN? lurgy of some kind making me even grumpier deleting all sorts of nonsense is not in the spirit of the site.

So if there is anything you think we ought know about fgs click the button

That is all.
