Non annoying films for a 3 year old

I'm thinking that I will get some new DVDs, ones that me and the girls (3yo and 5mo) can watch as we wind down for the day. They need to be suitable but not boring or dodgy in any way. No disney princess or such crap please.

I'm thinking old musicals could be the way to go. We are having a bit of a "the king and I" phase, so we could capitalise on that, although an awful lot of musicals seem to have dodgy sections - ie obviously Caberet and Chicago are out of the question, so any suggestions?

The Pajama Game (Doris Day) is fab - and Oklahoma, Singin In The Rain, 7 Brides, Calamity Jane, King and I.

Carousel, Sound of Music, South Pacific all have possible 'iffiness' - but wonderful songs!

I loved Yellow Submarine when i was little - along with Mary Poppins CCBB and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Wizard of Oz scared the bejebus outta me though!

Older Disney cartoons? Aladdin, Hercules (could be a bit scary) The Aristocats, Sword in the Stone, Basil the Great Mouse Detective. Wallace and Gromit one with Shaun the Sheep is ace.
