Pride and Prejudice- 2005 version, just love the fact there is no sex, barely any intimacy apart from the hand hold when she accepts Darcy, just sublime 👌🏻 and so beautifully filmed with the colours.

In spite of my long list previously I managed to forget The Lady Vanishes (original Margaret Lockwood/Michael Redgrave version) and The 39 Steps (original Robert Donat version). There aren't many Hitchcock films I don't love.

I also totally forgot about Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, who made some fabulous films I could watch any time, including, but not limited to, Black Narcissus, The Red Shoes, Colonel Blimp, A Matter of Life and Death, the 49th Parallel and my favourite (by a whisker) I Know Where I'm Going.

Love this film—especially the scene with Lizzy spinning on the swing and the seasons passing

There are so many issues with Alfred Hitchcock films but there are very few I can't or don't wish to watch again (Frenzy is just awful) and yes to the magnificent I Know Where I'm going.
