Well that was terrible.

Wasn't it, just. A waste of talent. Terrible script etc.

Plot holes so big you could fly a plane through. And I spent the first 90 mins waiting for Taron Egerton to stop being pathetic and actually do something.

Aww I enjoyed it: a nice Xmas sort-of action movie, not too much thinking required 😂

I watched it tonight, very B grade, predictable and some bad acting. I thought it was a bad rip off of die hard.

Just watched it, me and DH thinking it's got to be the quietest ever airport for Christmas Eve.
Also having just stepped off an airplane saying there's discharged stuff on board he gets manhandled by the police, hugged and he kisses his pregnant girlfriend! While they're calling for a hazmat team! Surely considering he could have some on him??
Also spent about all of about 5 mins actually working at the scanner, rest of the time running round the airport, in the loo etc etc but never told off, his queue not complaining and no one including supervisor Hank (breaking bad lol) noticing. Also spent at least 30 mins mumbling to Jason Bateman with Hank staring right at him. 🤨

It was fine. I love films based in airports or on planes.

There's a lot of good stuff coming up on Netflix soon, Squid Game Boxing Day and Night Agent in Jan.

We haven't got Netflix so didn't see it.

Was Sid James in it? And that little bloke with glasses? They're both usually jolly funny.

And Taron’s American accent was awful.

I did not understand the bag switch thing? I thought the new larger case was a decoy and the Novichok was safe in the airport but it was in the new case🤔

Yeah it made absolutely no sense.
Along with how the police linked Tarons 911 call to the nerve gas threat.

Ah, he switched the cases over as the new one would be slightly too large to fit in the overhead locker on the plane. He also marked the new bag with a code to class it as cargo. Probably thinking that if it was in the cargo hold it couldn't be set off or might be safer if it was set off remotely

It was dreadful, I sold it as a new Die hard to my family (solely from the trailer). It definitely wasn't that ;)

So disappointed, I really thought it was a modern carry on!

The car crash and fight scene was good though.

I searched for a good movie yesterday evening and decider on this as the reviews looked promising. Big mistake. Huge!

Terrible film. The cartoonish car scene, the plastic looking girlfriend who can’t act, stupid fights, everyone running about everywhere, the plot holes. What a waste of Jason Bateman.

I switched it off with 40 minute remaining. I suspect he saved the world and got his promotion. Not that I particularly care.
