We have just watched The Talented Mr Rippley for the first time. Omg it was so good. You literally need a bottle of wine and two valium to watch it.

Has anyone got any good film recommendations that's a good watch with a good twist?

I said Prinal Fear in an earlier comment. I went from crying to "omfg" in about 10 seconds! Honestly it's amazing 😬🫨

Absolutely agree with this.. Edward Norton is amazing and the twist is a proper gasp moment!

Mindhunters with val kilmer and Jonny Lee miller

I rewatched The Departed this week as I hadn't seen it since it first came out and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I've not heard of this but just reading the title I feel I've got a pretty good idea what the twist will be 😂

NRTFT but The Good Liar on Netflix with Helen mirren and Ian mckellan was really good with twists.

El Orfanata (the orphanage)

The first time, I think ever, that I was truly and deeply astonished by a twist. It’s produced by Guillermo Del Toro who directed Pan’s Labyrinth, which I really loved.

Get Out is a good shout, Daniel Kaaluya is brilliant, I would watch him in anything.

Body Heat really holds up as a twisty neo-noir despite being 40 years old.

A Perfect Murder

Anon3211 · 30/07/2023 03:26

Don't worry darling and 'Run' neither are horrors though 😊

Just to say The Invisible Guest has the most unexpected and best twists. You won't regret it. It's absolutely brilliant

efeslight · 30/07/2023 09:47

Found Memento quite difficult to follow, need to watch it again I think

NooNakedJacuzziness · 30/07/2023 10:34

Whatever Happened to Baby Jane is brilliant, creepy and twisted but not really horror

OfMiceandWomen · 30/07/2023 10:41

Dream House with Daniel Craig had a good twist.

Came on here especially to say Usual Suspects!

Piggywaspushed · 30/07/2023 10:48

It's been mentioned once but I shall second Gone Girl.

Famously twisty turny.

The Outfit
Where the Crawdads Sing

Piggywaspushed · 30/07/2023 10:50

Also, Atonement. Different kind of twist.

The Others is great.
