Well; I am almost lost for words.
The trailers give a glimpse of a film in the mould of Pride or the Full Monty, full of British pluck and the hope of something joyous.
Instead, it is an mawkish medley of “God bless the NHS and all who sail in her”, a hideous glimpse of the horrors of aging, a political point made with the subtlety of a brick, a massive dose of the pandemic horrors, and a random story twist (which was fairly obvious early on) which left a mish mash of disappointment and bewilderment by the end.
I don’t recommend 😂

Just seen Mark Kermode's review - he thought it was a mess too, and hated the story twist which he thought made no sense. No intention of seeing it, but I'm intrigued!

Thanks for the heads-up, thought I'd go while the rest of the family watch Shazam, just cancelled my ticket.
