Recommend me a genuinely heartwarming film

I watched People, Places, Things recently - a really lovely rom-com with Jermaine Clement. It made me realise that I haven’t watched another really heartwarming, funny film for ages.

Any recommendations of anything similar?

About a family having to sit shiva after their dad dies - I know it doesn't sound like a barrel of laughs but has funny moments, some sad but mostly about how messy life is - has Adam Driver, Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Timothy Oliphant amongst others.

The best feel good movie of all time is It’s A Wonderful Life

Seducing Dr Lewis - it's so lovely, it's about a Canadian fishing village who need to attract a new doctor so they can open a factory, so when a doctor comes to stay they all go about trying to make him want to stay. It's so genuinely sweet!

Lars and the Real Girl. Ryan Gosling and Emily Mortimer.. it’s a long time since I saw it but I remember it being a heart warmer! (Though the premise does sound a bit out there )

Seconded! I love this film so much, it’s just a lovely rom com, plus it has Bill Nighy in it which is always a bonus imo.

Amelie is lovely, heartwarming and a visual delight.

Long Shot on Netflix with Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen.

Plenty of funny moments but also really quite heart-warming. It surprised me in a very good way.

Just watched A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood with Tom Hanks. Surprisingly heartwarming.

I came on to recommend this. Really gorgeous film.

I think it was called chef. Every single character was good, no bad people. An unexpectedly lovely film.
