I highly recommend it for a non-stop thriller. The cast are all superb, the action flits from Moscow to Paris, London, Madrid, Tangiers and finally New York, and you ultimately get to know a bit more about who Bourne is.

As the third in the series, it stands up excellently and is as strong, if not even stronger than Identity and Supremacy.

I'd be interested to hear what everyone else thinks of it.

Brilliant Film. Certainly as good as Bourne Identity, and possibly better it terms of the action sequences.

The scene set in London Waterloo is amazing, all done with hand held cameras with real commuters apparently, perfect action drama.

As much as I enjoyed Daniel Craig's Bond, I'm afraid the Bourne franchise knocks the spots off anything I have seen Bond do in many recent outings.

Absolutely deserving of the 5 stars Empire gave it imo.

I really wanted to see this but my sister said that the first 30 minutes gave her motion sickness because of the camerawork and she had to leave, and she wasn't the only one in the cinema to leave

haven't heard this anywhere else, is it true?

Slubberdegullion · 10/09/2007 16:06

Twiglett, I'm very glad I wasn't sitting at the front. We were about a third of the way up and tbh there were some moments when I had to close my eyes as the world was starting to spin a bit. If you sat at the back you'd probably be fine. The hand held jerkiness add to the 'visceral' feel of the movie imo

foxinsocks · 10/09/2007 16:09

yes, I've heard that too Twig. Given that I got travel sickness helping the kids play the Raven game on the computer, I'm going to have to give it a miss .

if you get motion sickness, don't go

I loved it, best film seen this year so far!

rookiemum · 16/09/2007 22:01

Chestuntty I hadn't seen the first two and I have to say I found it frightfully confusing, like catching the last night of one of those dramas on ITV. I have ordered the first two on lovefilm though to try and catch up.

biglips · 21/09/2007 13:42

whats the first and second movie called?

FairyBasslet · 22/09/2007 16:36

The first one is called The Bourne Identity and the second one is The Bourne Supremacy. Both are excellent.

Not recommended if you haven't seen the first two, as it echoes some of the images and themes... it's got more in common with 1 than 2, but you need to see both to understand the plot...

Did that make sense?
