Hacksaw Ridge...best movie I've seen in years

2016 - Moonwalkers. Very rude and violent, but totally hilarious.
2017 - Logan. Who doesn't love the Wolverine?

Moonlight was dh & dd1's favourite. I really liked it but at a push would put La La Land ahead just because I was thoroughly invested.

Absolutely loved it, so beautifully animated and well written. It's as good as Spirited Away which is one of my favourites.

And I agree that LaLaLand was disappointing. I actually fast forwarded at the end to see if there was more, I thought a film that has won so many awards can't possibly be that boring. Nothing happened in it!

I can't pick one but among my favourites were Lion, Wonder Woman, Get Out.

But I am seeing Dunkirk soon so that may be a winner.

The best I've watched was The Maze and I kind of liked Sully too. I also loved watching Moana and Beauty and the beast with my kids.

I just watched Captain Fantastic and loved it.

both very moving films that really got to you felt drained after watching both of them

Hunt for the Wilderpeople was really enjoyable

I found La La Land overrated and too long and certainly overhyped

Zootropolis. I can quite happily watch it without my DC!
