Has anyone been to see it?

We've just got back. I cried.. It was so nostalgic.

AlpacaPicnic · 14/06/2015 13:24

I loved it!
Didn't cry though... Thought the end fight scene was brilliant!

NomiMalone · 14/06/2015 13:25

I haven't seen it but I suspect I'd cry too.

Albeit for different reasons.

Earthbound · 14/06/2015 13:27

Went to see it last night.

Completely ludicrous but great fun.

Didn't cry though.

WhenMarnieWasThere · 14/06/2015 13:29

I liked it.

I liked the nod of nostalgia to the original.

It was ridiculous in places, but good fun.

The blatant product-placement annoyed me a bit.

Earthbound · 14/06/2015 13:34

Yes to the product placement! Many, many lingering shots of Starbucks and Coke.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 14/06/2015 13:45

Seen it. Was quite good. Some of the deaths were a bit sad.

Yes completely agree about the product placement. We were naming them in the car on the way home...

Coke
Beats
Jamba Juice
eBay

Really enjoyed it. Chris Pratt is lovely

One of the dinosaur exhibits was sponsored by Samsung and every single phone was a Samsung. The leading female did several pointing-at-people-with-her-phone gestures to put it firmly in shot too.

Mercedes cars.
Coke.
Pandora.
Starbucks.

I agree that Chris Pratt was at all times ludicrously overdressed --dammit- .

WhenMarnieWasThere · 14/06/2015 18:58

dammit

Degustibusnonestdisputandem · 14/06/2015 18:59

Ooh, I want to see it :) DTD 2 keeps asking for the LEGO T. rex

rallytog1 · 14/06/2015 19:09

Apparently the product placement was specifically written in - to demonstrate the commercialisation of the place.

I loved it. The finale was just brilliant.

Rainicorn · 14/06/2015 19:10

I was going to go see it on Thursday, but now thanks to Alpaca's spoiler about Chris Pratt not removing his clothes, I think I'll pass. Thanks for that Angry

WONAR · 14/06/2015 19:19

Ditto OP. The first time the classic theme played, I got goosebumps all up my arms!

I'll definitely go to see it again if I get the chance.

chanie44 · 14/06/2015 19:20

Ooo, we are going to see it next weekend.

And Mac. I can't believe the female lead spent the entire film wearing stilettos!

Chris Pratt yurmy

HermioneWeasley · 14/06/2015 19:32

Loved it, wanted to see it again right away!

HermioneWeasley · 14/06/2015 19:34

patience I wanted a little homage to "romancing the stone" and have Chris Pratt cut the heels off her shoes. Of all the ridiculous stuff, trying to outrun a T. rex in heels?!

patienceisvirtuous · 14/06/2015 19:37

I know haha, she did a pretty good job though!!

PatsyNoPasta · 14/06/2015 19:40

I loved the film. I'm going to get a naice pair of nude stilettos and an inverted bob.

Tweezertastic · 14/06/2015 19:52

Loved it too!

StampyShortnose · 14/06/2015 19:55

I know it's a 12a but would it be ok for a younger child? DS is desperate to see it!

ilovespinach · 14/06/2015 19:57

Can I take my 9 year old? He would love it.

snala · 14/06/2015 19:57

We took our 5,7 and 9 year olds and they loved it.
They love the first 3 films too.
