Horrific that yet another PERSON has been murdered after a years of domestic abuse. I don't think your title is particularly helpful how it's written, it rather makes it sound like loads of women are murdering men and everybody's just fine with it?
There needs to be infinitely more done to highlight and prevent domestic abuse, no matter the gender. I would agree that there should be more done specifically to confront abuse and violence committed by women, whether it's against men or other women. It can seem to appear irrelevant as it is of course so much rarer than violence committed by men against women, but it is arguably even more in need of discussion and campaign, partly because it does get less coverage, and partly because gender norms can make it very difficult for men to understand and tackle what is happening to them. To be clear, I am not suggesting decreasing the coverage of violence against women, just increasing the coverage of violence by women.
I am very sorry for what happened to him, and relieved that a domestic abuser is receiving an appropriate sentence. Which is not always the case.
