Another man has died, a victim of cruel abuse by women

A woman who killed her partner after a "sustained campaign of abuse" has been convicted of murder. Polly Murphy fatally assaulted her partner, James Self, 47, during a trip to Clacton-on-Sea.

It's a shame he didn't feel as though he could seek help.

Branleuse · 28/01/2026 15:38

Drug and alcohol abuse to this extent is a terrible thing.
I think that certain types of men are so desperate for any woman they will put up with any amount of abuse and impossible to reason with them. Happened to a mentally ill friend of mine that was targeted by a woman who was a heroin addict because of his DLA. She was awful and so abusive and it didn't take long before he was on heroin too, and then dead.

And you’ve posted this on the feminist board why? (as if we can’t guess!)

Yes, luckily it’s vanishingly rare for a woman to kill her partner. RIP that poor guy.

Goady MRA thread that fails to see the irony that a man murdered by a woman is noteworthy, whilst a woman murdered by a man is so commonplace people barely notice.

Exactly!
Looking at the OPs previous posts it would seem as though he's just a nasty little incel.

I tried to post a screenshot of a particularly nasty example, blaming women's words for them getting killed but it probably won't be posted.

Yes

Wowzers.

ThatBlackCat · 28/01/2026 16:34

Yes, looks like a frustrated incel who gets off to Andrew Tate videos and has tiny dick energy. You gotta laugh at how pitiful these sad lonely men are.

Every week at least 2 women are murdered by their abusive MALE partner! THIS is more appealing than your post

It’s not top trumps any death at the hands of another is appalling

Over40Overdating · 28/01/2026 18:41

Interesting that Mumsnet let this and other threads started by the LDE incel stand when other threads that are obvious trolls get pulled quicker than you can say ragebaittraffic.

Not sure why this is in the feminism topic really. What does it have to do with feminism?

What this man went through was awful- I am very sorry for his family and loved ones. I hope his abuser gets a fitting sentence for her crimes.

I think our visitor may be feeling lonely under his bridge and hoping for people to talk to him. You know like with some toddlers. They want attention and don't much care if it's good or bad as long as they disrupt anyone else. I'm sad for any victim of domestic violence and glad justice has been done, but I'm not prepared to play our visitor's games.

I've got snowdrops and daffodils and crocuses in my garden and it isn't raining. Is anyone else thinking that spring might just be coming?

Gnomer · 17/02/2026 12:03

There's no point in pretending you give a shiny shit about this poor bloke, you're just a sad little man who wants to blame women for everything.

Why don't you go and bother some other sad little men because we're not interested in incels here.
