... then threatens the mother of his kids with a machete.

Earlier this month he and his vigilantes falsely claimed that a local hotel was housing asylum seekers.

It's like clockwork with these people, isn't it?

A typical violent thug.

Poddingtonpeace · 01/10/2025 08:11

His poor ex-partner! Imagine, she's going to be forced to have this thug in her life to some degree because of her children.

PollyBell · 01/10/2025 08:15

Well we keep on hearing from women they either want a man to protect them or other women tell women the role of a man is to protect them

So thia give them what they want, all sounds crazy to me but so does 'grow a pair' which is meant the same way,

I don’t “keep on hearing “ from
any women that they need a man to protect them.

Being attacked with a machete gives them the male protection they allegedly ask for? OK.

I also don't hear from women who want a man to protect them.

Yes, I agree the man is a thug. People are using immigration as excuse to be violent. It is a story as old as history. There are a lot of people out there who are really struggling with all sorts of big problems and they're looking for scapegoats. Unfortunately some of them are turning on people with a different skin colour, rather than the useless governments we have had in the last few years.

It reminds me of what happened near me. There were a load of protesters outside a hotel that was housing migrants. The protesters were posting on social media that they were doing it to protect women. Later on the council posted that the hotel only had families and no single men. The protesters decided the council was lying.

I don't need a man to protect me. What I need is for the men that are abusive and violent to not be like that, and for those that aren't, to call out that behaviour rather than stand idly by passively condoning it.

The problem is that men have violent tendencies and those that don't, aren't prepared to stand up to them. It's toxic. We don't need vigilantes, we just need all men to be decent, civilised humans. I accept that's a big ask for them.

JazzyJelly · 01/10/2025 08:54

Violent men have always used the excuse of 'protecting women and kids' to be violent.

It's not bears we need protection from!

PinkFrogss · 01/10/2025 09:41

We don’t need violent men to protect us from violent men.

We need no violent men, and for any men who are violent or abusive to be dealt with appropriately.

Only time I hear about men being protectors and providers are from redpilled podcast bros.

Timeforabitofpeace · 01/10/2025 19:17

I can’t imagine anything scarier than those kinds of men thrusting themselves forward as “protectors”.

But it mainly seems to be men raising concerns about mass immigration from misogynistic cultures. Usually they're shouted down as racists and it's often by women.

I don't think it's unreasonable to say there needs to be some discussion when we have incidents like 1200 women being sexually assaulted in one evening by a demographic that does this type of thing regularly in their own countries.

VimtoIcePop · 01/10/2025 21:43

Also, you surely see the issue with expecting non violent men to stand up to those with 'violent tendencies'. Why would they bother putting themselves at risk for people that will blame it all on them anyway just for being male.

It's a neverending spiral. If innocent men need to take responsibility for criminal men, do all white people need to take responsibility for the ranting bigots protesting outside the hotels?

Disgusting smh they know fine well there’s families in there.

And they are really protecting the children and women in the hotels by scaring the living daylights out of them right ?

Right the average women nowadays just asks for men to stop harming them and to contribute financially ie not be a cocklodger.

It’s the red pillers that bang on about “protectors and providers”!

But tbf when the shit hits the fan we usually expect men to step in.

Didn't that happen in Germany, not the UK?

I think it entails men harming women lol

Again this comes back to what I said previously about men needing to just stop harming women.

I mean men wouldn’t ever be called upon to “protect” women if their fellow men weren’t so violent. In fact the same ones “protecting” one woman in one context , are often guilty of harming another woman in a different context.

Red pillers praise themselves as protectors but don’t want to focus on the fact that (if/ when they do in step up) they are protecting us from other MEN.

Hear hear!

A childhood friend of mine had a very protective older brother growing up who was in and out of jail. He was sometimes drunk and violent but actually quite a charming guy outside of that and gave the appearance of caring deeply about his sisters. He actually threatened my friends first boyfriend as I recall there were rumours her boyfriend had hit her.

It wasn’t until my 20s I found out that he’d been abusing her and his other sisters. I wasn’t aware at the time since I was a tween but one of the times he had been in jail was actually as due to (some of) the abuse being reported.

I nearly threw up when I found out. It’s unbelievable he pretended to be her protector when he was one of her first abusers.
