Andrew Tate wants to be UK Prime Minister and is supported by Trump

I've been following this story about Trump pressuring Romanian officials to drop the charges against the Tates with absolute disgust and now this article has come out with more (worse) details of their fully fledged partnership.

I feel utter despair with Trump over his behaviour towards Zelensky but that's on another discussion. As to this Andrew Tate issue what can be done? It's bad enough these misogynists are ruling the world right now without this toad being welcome into the fold and going into politics.

It's so depressing. I remember being a teenager in the late 90's and always assuming things would continue to get better for women and fully assuming that misogyny would be all but wiped out in my lifetime. Instead things are worse than ever and prospects are looking worse than sinister.

Does anyone have any hopeful thoughts?

Agree with this. Some of our PMs have been questionable, but not one of them has been a thick as mince chav.

I used to hope that too @menopausalfart around the time that Trump lost in 2020. I stayed glued to the tv for 5 days straight during lockdown, watching the US coverage and gradually believing I was witnessing the end of Trump.

Tbh I wasn't as much focussed on the PM thing though I acknowledge I did put that in the title of this thread. My main immediate worry is him being let off of the rape of 40 or so women and trafficking, due to Trump applying pressure, and then him becoming even more prevalent and odious. As a mum to a son I hate the idea of him getting a boost and getting away with it, just as Trump has done.

True. But I have seen women on this forum saying they agree with Trump (and others) who know what a woman is and would vote for them.

They'd vote for him regardless. I also knew women who voted for Farage because of anti woke. They said they were feminists.

We're right to be concerned. The world we live in today is still a merely a blip in overall history.

Furthermore, the men of today never consented for this reality, and I fear that many of Tate's followers are young men who long for a time when men had more power & control over women. A.I fuelled job losses will only make this worse as the number of disenfranchised men grow.
