I want him not to be able to give me the flannel that we have to be kind to the woMen. I want assurances that we do t have to share our spaces. I want to not sound like the very nervous person that am I!

I was going to vote Labour but really don’t think I can after listening to that now. Really don’t know what to do because I can’t stand the tories and if people don’t vote Labour the danger is the tories get in again 🤷‍♀️

im so against labours stance on this issue. But I’m against the Tories on everything else. Sadly I think ultimately I will have to vote Labour. Maybe they will chuck women under a bus but the tories chuck everyone under the bus unless you’re a rich twit like them.

Or, how would you feel if your daughter was alone getting changed in a swimming pool changing room, alone and another person walked in and stopped naked next up her. @ElleWoods15 were is the respect being shown to @IamSarah who has been left without rape counseling because she has asked for a female only group, not instead of the 'female gender' group (or indeed the male group and the trans group) but along side them?

Where is the respect shown to my nieces who are having to navigate their first periods in mixed sex toilets where they are having to wash their hands at central sinks next to boys?

Where is the respect for female athletes who are having their medals, their records, their scholarships and their places taken by transwomen?

Respect seems to only flow one way.

Women's right were hard won...often with their lives. Starmer and Raynor are disrespecting all of that.

I've emailed my (Female) Labour MP and told her I will not be voting for her. That I cannot vote for a party whereby the leader cannot/will not identify what a woman is and by not guaranteeing safe spaces endangers us, erodes our identity and our hard won rights.

Despite hearing all the many reasons why many women are demanding their single sec spaces be kept single sex, they are STILL saying ‘fuck ypu, we’re taking them off you whether you like it or not’.

They are either as thick as shit and just as arrogant, or mendacious and acting in bad faith.

Either way, a party so captured by misogynist and homophobia philosophy at the expense of women and children is not fit to govern.

I feel like @JanefromLondon1 has given us all a much needed moral and fighting boost. Labour will get in, but let's all try to be a little more Jane and make the candidates incredibly uncomfortable for the next week with their sneaky words. Keep asking those difficult questions. I emailed the sex matters questions to all of my candidates and only one has got back to me...it's really not good enough and just shows how little they care for women's concerns. Women Pulll!!
