You can't see any comments?
Here is a link to a page which currently has 44 comments at the bottom of it. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page then beneath the "Related Articles" and "Read More" you will find the comments.
This is a link without a share token so it will only work for Times subscribers.

(The reason I didn't include a share token is because comments are not shown when a share token is used.)
Can you see the comments at the bottom of the linked page? If not then have a quick word with the Times, it may be that you need to delete the cookies or something like that.
But that doesn't allow you to search for people who have commented. You can't even search for your own previous comments!
The only way to search for your own comments is if somebody recommends (likes) them or replies to them. You then get an email.
So if you want to search for one of your comments then you have to search your emails to find it and that will then link back to your original comment.
Currently, as far as I am aware, there is no way for searching comments either by name or text within a comment. And you would have to search within the text as commenters cannot use names like "British Kashmiri Girl" so she just uses that name in the body of her comments.
Well, when I say that there is no way, if you were to right your own code in something like Python or R to scrape the text from the Times website then you would likely be able to find other peoples comments.
