Is Liz Fraser helping all women or just herself?

1000 replies

Cambridgebunz · 07/11/2023 09:26

Liz Fraser boldly claims across all mediums that she aims to help all women live their best lives. However, there are suggestions, allegations, and evidence to the contrary.

What are your thoughts on the validity of her recent postings in the realm of domestic violence, parenting, mental health, neurodiversity, travel, running, holistic wellbeing and more, as a self-promoted "influencer"?

Keep your thoughts wholesome, relatable and current to her most recent postings. Do not mention ex-partners or her children by name. This discussion is to better understand the objective of and validity behind her “work” and words.

@RhinoRhino 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Her recent decision to portray M's GF as the wrongdoer didn't sit well with many customers at my workplace. This unkind and unnecessary move caused her to lose a significant amount of sympathy. Some did still have some for her!

Liz, you should remember that sometimes, less is more. Allow people to make their own mistakes; if they're going to trip up, they will. Her shoes appear to fit quite well, in my opinion. I noticed you were wearing a similar pair of boots not long ago. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, Liz. She must be thrilled! Sistas.

@Wrongsideofliz I think I missed this. Was this something PriviLiz said on SM, or something you overheard?

Umbrellaisback · 13/12/2023 06:04

How many times does she repost her own posts on X? And tell us how much love she is getting for them (40 odd likes out of 22 thousand followers is not a whole lot of love in my book) And going on and on about how much she loves scotch when she’s insisted she doesn’t drink

RhinoRhino · 13/12/2023 08:12

Ms Fraser's pronouncements on alcohol reflect her pronouncements on anything tbf. She drinks, she doesn't drink, she just takes photos of drinks for Insta, she's worried about her drinking, she loves a drink, she rarely drinks, she runs an impromptu marathon and replaces the lost fluids with whisky, she and Mike both drank too much in Venice, she's happy with her alcohol intake thank you very much, she's trying to get sober, she's taking herself out for a cocktail.

Etc.

As in it's all just a confusing mess of statements which add up to a very incoherent narrative.

Like pretty much any subject she puts into the public domain.

Ditto her work and myriad 'projects' and, most likely, this resolution to shut up on social media.

It’s such a shame S won’t be able to go back in 40 years with a lover and experience the same. Why, because her mother has abandoned her like she did her sisters and brother.

How tragic to say on a thread for feminists, but “thank goodness children have fathers, even more do when their mothers abandon them for men.” Not once, but twice in the case of Liz Fraser, the scourge on the community of motherhood.

No Dog for S: I used to run across this grassy bay when I was a child, legging it down to the old Bothy at the far end with my dog in tow, wagging her tail.

No camping or sausages and beans for S: We would pitch out little orange Force 10 tents, get the Primus stove going, cook sausages and beans and eat them in the door of the tent if it was wet or on stones around a camp fire if dry.

No walk to Blà Bheinn with mum, but maybe step mum: One time in a hot August I walked up Blà Bheinn with mum after dinner, and we watched the sunset together, and the still light midnight sky.

But not one of her children. They’re not special enough to or for her because they don’t feed her ego snd they’re not a man: And one time I came back nearly 40 years later with someone very special who knows and loves it too.

Not with you kids: felt in no other time of my life except right NOW, and more alive than ever; and it was just perfect

TomatoSoupkitchen · 13/12/2023 13:19

Just before she went public on Tiny Feet she was asking women to share their most intimate abuse stories. I wonder what she’s filed this information under? Watch out Tiny Feet.

just before that, she wanted mental he’s and ADHD followers.

Now she wants followers for yet another project she can’t talk about and won’t deliver on.

Should she be telling the previous followers to unfollow? Just because I read health magazines doesn’t mean I read travel magazines or have any interest in Venice. I don’t have.

Does she make money out of having followers? I’d this another grift tactic?

Oh and has she upped and left yet another child? I don’t check in often but she’s not been in Oxford for at least a month unless I’ve missed something. What a headcase she’s turning out to be. No wonder the last boyfriend hit the bottle.

You realize that 'nearly 40 years later' post was simply a compliment-fishing exercise? There's ALWAYS an agenda. All the leary oldies must serve their purpose and come out of the woodwork exclaiming 'but you don't look old enough to for it to be 40 years later Liz?! How so!?". Yawn. Clearly only what she considers to be ego-boosting posts (in her mind) are the ones she'll be allowing now 🤣🤣🤣. Those are the only posts with any payback for her.

Wrongsideofliz · 13/12/2023 13:30

The run chat on Sunday is high risk for a control freak.

Whealspeed · 13/12/2023 14:01

Does LF drive?

Wrongsideofliz · 13/12/2023 15:32

Yes.

Wrongsideofliz · 13/12/2023 15:40

I say yes, but Marta the Martyr was forced to drive her at top speed across Europe from Venice to Oxford via ikea in France, when Liz ‘fled’, though Liz always forgets to credit her for this.
Driving doesn’t burn calories. Cycling at top speed does. Hitching lifts with absolute stranger men and then sprinting with a backpack on ticks the attention seeking and calorie burning boxes.
Perhaps driving doesn’t fit her agendas, one of which isn’t concerns about the environment!

Tortiemiaw · 13/12/2023 15:43

I'm just wondering if she's resitting her English Language O Level. The standard is very similar. 'Write a descriptive piece of a place you love to visit or imagine would be like if you were there'.
Baffled as to how she got anything published, tbf

Wrongsideofliz · 13/12/2023 15:51

Also to remind people how close she is to her mother and what a family gal she is even though there are article written by her fair hand and the Sunday Times profile of her and her dad that suggest otherwise!
Such a family gal, has she visited any of her own or M’s family while in Scotland I wonder? The Fraser genes are, after all, half Scottish, though the Slavic connection seems to be preferred and as M was the perpetrator of all evil, his family must be desperate to celebrate her return to the vital woman she was when she and he first started dating 😂. Mind you, they’re probably too drunk given she thinks all Scots are perpetually drunk. Lang may yer lum reek Liz hen !

@Raffington55

Umbrellaisback · 13/12/2023 15:54

Three weeks since she turned up at Gatwick to go to Venice then to Scotland. The fact she’s decided to stop writing about motherhood coincides neatly with the fact she’s not seen any of her kids for the best part of a month so there is no mothering to write about

Ellishyde · 13/12/2023 16:16

I weep with laughter and for the English language 🤣
Is she getting anything published you ask @Tortiemiaw. No chance! Digital publications and editors expect journalists to grasp SEO basics and optimise their content to some extent before submission. She gives them all the evidence they need to see that SEO has passed her by. Her own limited online visibility even before reading a word, suggests she’s not a competitive, credible or adaptability option to employ in any capacity. Lucky for her she prefers pen and paper and a restricted audience🤣

”And all you can do is stand there and watch this extraordinary *thing that has been here so long before us, and doesn't care about anything but being a waterfall, just tumbling into the sea, and it will keep doing it long after we are gone 🧡#skye #waterfall#scotland #beauty

I asked my 13 year old to rewrite it. Pretty good I think.

You can only stand and marvel at this ancient, relentless force—a waterfall. It has existed long before us, untouched by the world around it, endlessly cascading into the sea. And, it will continue long after we’re gone.

*thing - her favourite word 😜

Juniper744 · 13/12/2023 16:24

I’m not so sure of this. There is a post by one of her many exes suggesting she’s not still away unless someone small is home alone. Also Running Man must have to work sometimes or is there a dating app for trust fund funded fake writers and runners? My moneys on her trying to convince the world he’s into her and cant be without her. I doubt she’s into him if he exists he’s too successful for her to be able to cope with.

Springtime1973 · 13/12/2023 16:40

Now I’m no athlete, but if I were a professional, you wouldn’t find me lurking in wet Venice or Scotland, nibbling biscuits in a bush. I’d choose a sunny destination.
Before we had children, we enjoyed a sports holiday in the north of Lanzarote. In winter, it is a popular destination for biathletes, triathletes, and Ironman competitors. Makes me wonder as I trip over my feet!

Worky thing this time @Ellishyde. Worky thing. You know, that thing you poor people do!

Is Liz Fraser helping all women or just herself?
Tortiemiaw · 13/12/2023 21:22

Ugh 'worky things'. How awfully horrid. Hooray for second homes to escape to.

Raffington55 · 13/12/2023 22:06

She clearly thinks she's simply a champion/'pro' runner now - alluding to a few 'running-related meetings' in the 'worky is for others' post - having boasted the other day of completing (🤥) her first marathon on zero training and half a glass of water, rehydrating with whisky proffered by her phantom boyfriend.

Joonio · 13/12/2023 22:45

The Spanish will come in handy for Venice!😇
