What are your thoughts on the validity of her recent postings in the realm of domestic violence, parenting, mental health, neurodiversity, travel, running, holistic wellbeing and more, as a self-promoted "influencer"?

It is sad in some ways, I don't disagree. However, her entire character is built around her being right and everyone being wrong (simplified version). I may be naive and a bit simple, but how can anyone feel it's ok (ignoring the sexual shenanigans, as that is a whole other year or so of therapy), to be so abusive and blatantly nasty to the very women she professes to want to help.

Her Liberal 'cunts' screamed on sm - witnessed over the years when women have suggested her behaviour is not altogether pleasant or supportive - or downright unkind (remember the 'child leavng home is like child dying' furore?); her fury at women apparently ruining her projects; her grabbing money from women and blocking them for asking polite questions.

Everything is someone else's fault. She is just so unlikeable it hurts!

@Lindaofoxford Totally agree with your two posts above. Really interesting about the fair-weather support from other businesses, organisations, friends and family.

One point about the anonymous on-line sycophants: these are the only people allowed to follow Liz. Anybody questioning her gets an immediate block. She will not tolerate challenge to her narrative. And it's such a shame she cannot bear to allow people to constructively criticise. If she engaged normally with other people's opinions via SM she might find other views helpful, and there would be no need for these MN threads.

Blocking any challenges and even mild criticism is vital to the perpetuation of her fantasy life as publisher , defender of women and any other cause that would promote her to heroism . Leaving any critical comments for others to see would bring her world crashing down.....rage would surely follow if the blocking facility wasn't there.

Been thinking about it how it works when you can’t afford to set up a business without donations from strangers but you can still afford to go on holiday (and let’s not dress it up as ‘work’) more times in a year than most people do in a decade or more, while owning two homes outright and constantly buying coffees and drinks, even if you don’t even drink them 🤔.

Surely how it should work is that you set up a business only if you can afford to (and let’s face it, to get as far as EP ever did we are taking a basic website and company registration and little else) OR you find investors who believe in what you’re doing and stand to get something from it at some point? I just don’t get how you can do what she’s done and shrug your shoulders and say the money is all spent and that’s it. Especially when living a lifestyle that to many is luxurious even if her messaging is always how frugal she is. On clothes maybe (please buy shirts that don’t leave your pants hanging out) but stop saying you are the queen of frugality when you’re on a plane or in an air bnb half the time.

Rather a long reel considering that she claims not to give a 'nanosecond' to thinking about those awful female trolls who stopped her running her hugely successful non-existent publishing company. I really liked the comment underneath from somebody who said that the reason for the 'trolling' was that people knew Edgeway Press was going to be a massive success and were simply jealous. Who did know that? And based on - what?

@Umbrellaisback the £million question has to be if the donations have been invested in the business and so can’t be refunded, where does the money come from to pay the utility bills, council tax, house insurance, buy food, pay for school trips, contribute to her son’s uni, etc. Even mortgage free, just getting up in the morning costs £hundreds a month. I can’t get the maths to work!

I've just had a lengthy discussion with him after he spoke with his superior and he would like you all to get it touch with him if possible? Once he's taken it on the chin and printed the story it's likely that bigger news chains will too.

Faceless and anonymous trolls, but definitely female? Is it because these posters have their own voices, opinions and experiences? Or they're female because every man loves you, Liz? Even your exes, in stable relationships, riskily texting behind their partners backs and potentially breaching 🚓

Think it through. The choice of anonymity might just be related to need. Your primary audience is, after all, victims of abuse. So in the spirit of transparency, why not share those texts from your exes and the trolls? Offer some context. They’ve got to be bad to be closing down a business. I’ve read the ones on Tattle snd Mumsnet and these don’t threaten anyone or anything.

My money is on Lisa Darlington being the wife of a Liz Fraser conquest. She likely said nothing, but the truth. Liz hates the truth like a cat hates water.

As mentioned by @Physicsrevision, she is silencing Lisa Darrington without a right to reply. If she’s mean, block her, but why name her when there are “hundreds of trolls”? Name them all.
