Is Liz Fraser helping all women or just herself?

1000 replies

Cambridgebunz · 07/11/2023 09:26

Liz Fraser boldly claims across all mediums that she aims to help all women live their best lives. However, there are suggestions, allegations, and evidence to the contrary.

What are your thoughts on the validity of her recent postings in the realm of domestic violence, parenting, mental health, neurodiversity, travel, running, holistic wellbeing and more, as a self-promoted "influencer"?

Keep your thoughts wholesome, relatable and current to her most recent postings. Do not mention ex-partners or her children by name. This discussion is to better understand the objective of and validity behind her “work” and words.

Its gone. Why would she block me, don't think I've interacted with her.

OffendedScot · 15/11/2023 22:43

have you viewed a story? She often purges this way. Google instagram readers and you can view without an account.

SundayNight · 15/11/2023 23:44

Sheesh. Liz is treating everything like a pantomime. She says in her tone deaf video ‘oh I was planning to do this during the day in the sunshine, but I ended up going running because my life’s do great and I’m only interested in joy. So here’s 5 minutes of me sitting on the floor, talking at you.

Btw Lads, I’ve just finished my bath. Pwoar, innit 😍.

Ladies, yeah, well I told you earlier to stop with your moaning, but now I need you to start up your moaning and tell me all about the pain and misery you went through for zero return. I can then make what you tell me, my story to further hit Mike with, oh and help the very women, ah. I’ve silenced and blocked!’

Mumtobesept2023 · 16/11/2023 07:05

She is such a complete and utter compulsive liar. I’ve seen the ‘bite’ pic she claims to have never shared before several times. I can’t believe anyone falls for her posts or has any trust in her. And people are very foolish to be sharing their personal stories with her.

Joonio · 16/11/2023 08:05

Big article in the Mail today.
Even her pic has gone from my insta and no results on search
. Very strange.

LuBenT · 16/11/2023 08:07

I’m quite sure I’ll get blocked but I’ve left a comment. This person is a menace. Fortunately her reach is tiny but if even one woman is hurt or upset or made more vulnerable by that stupid post that’s one too many.

Umbrellaisback · 16/11/2023 08:31

How can Daily Mail use bestselling memoir in their headline? It was bestselling in some random Amazon category that is meaningless. Not in the sense it’s used to mean here. Perpetuating the myths.

mind you the article which has been updated also says she lives in London and gets the name of the NCDV wrong so that tells you everything

Shortbread49 · 16/11/2023 08:35

Gosh yes I wonder if they check approval with the person they are writing about or just lift it all from social media ( am assuming the latter) if I were her new man or older children ( who may not have been told) I would not be happy about this

Umbrellaisback · 16/11/2023 08:39

Also ‘broke up her beautiful family’. Errr didn’t she do a pretty good job of that herself? While also breaking up more than one marriage in the process

Raffington55 · 16/11/2023 08:55

I see that dreadful jacket with the fur collar on the bannister is now cringing out DM readers nationwide! And the reference to how much Mike's addiction cost Liz financially is - well, it's so Liz isn't it, we all know how tight she is. I only hope the new man is into this relationship because he will have woken up to a shock, and could be making some swift excuses this weekend 😆

Tortiemiaw · 16/11/2023 09:03

Daily Mail? The racist, misogynist, single parent hating rag for thick selfish pseudo middle classes? Oh hang on, suits her fine!!
I can't find it though- what's the headline (not encouraging a link!)

It's in the Femail section x

GinnyWoolf · 16/11/2023 09:12

She blocked me and I've never interacted with her, so that's probably what's happened.

Tortiemiaw · 16/11/2023 09:38

I can't find it!!! All I can see is sychophant tosh about the lovely royal laydees

It's way past all the royal stuff - keep scrolling

Tortiemiaw · 16/11/2023 09:49

Oh god yes. ugh

Tortiemiaw · 16/11/2023 09:56

It's one of those that has been lifted by a journo. I had one like about me in the sodding Mail 10 or so years ago. No-one asked me for permission - just did an article taken from a magazine about how I had 'overcome x, y and z'. It was a little annoying actually and obviously no pay for it! Mind you she'll love it

Verity44 · 16/11/2023 09:57

That Daily Mail article 😩Never read such tosh in my life.

Many factual errors:

The book is not a "bestseller" as most people would understand it. It was briefly the top seller in the niche category of "Addiction Biographies";
She does not live in London;
The NCDV is misnamed;
The book was published by "Green Tree" not "Green Tea".

As was said upthread, this is lazy journalism at its worst. Probably just cut and paste from her highly curated social media output without any fact checking at all.

How many "lovely families" has she destroyed, including her own? Is the Daily Mail happy about inflicting further trauma on the many women who might find that article very hard to see. A woman responsible for causing great harm putting herself forward as a victim and women's champion.

Shame on you Daily Mail! 😡

Verity44 · 16/11/2023 09:59

Also, I'm so fuming I was going to comment on the article. I saw the reference to comments being moderated and that there was only one comment visible so I decided not to bother.

GreekDogRescue · 16/11/2023 10:04

I find it shocking that she’s allowed to drag Mike’s name through the national press and make criminal accusations about him without anyone hearing his side of the story. He’s the father of her child, it is so
malicious.
I must say he’s being very patient but I’d be thinking of getting a restraining order or mounting a counter defence. But maybe that would just inflame things.
Some fight back on Twitter today at least.

Me too, no point

Verity44 · 16/11/2023 10:15

@GreekDogRescue

Yes, I feel for Mike too. This type of irresponsible journalism peddles the infantile notion that the world is populated by "goodies" and "baddies". Real life is complex, complicated and nuanced. It suits Liz to be portrayed as the poor victim. The journalist has clearly not read the book or the many reviews slating . it. Liz admits in the book that she lashed out too.

Mike is now in a relationship with a professional woman who, I am sure, would have nothing to do with a man who harmed her or her children. I don't know her but I am guessing that she is wise and mature and understands that Mike was at rock bottom when he was with Liz. He is making daily amends through his 12 step programme and I am sure this is why he is not engaging with her antics. I am also sure that she finds this infuriating, hence the public defamation at every opportunity.

Dear Daily Mail - are you happy to be perpetuating this public slagging off of a young child's father? And that this will be in the public domain for the rest of her life? Her mother clearly doesn't care.

GinnyWoolf · 16/11/2023 10:29

Far from Liz Fraser helping women as per the title of this thread, I often get a vibe that she really dislikes them or, on occasion, hates them. She's very much a man's woman, in my opinion. I've known women like her in the past in various jobs I've done and they've generally made my life hell in order to look good in front of various male bosses. If I had to sum LF in words I would say: angry, manipulative, unstable, stressed, neurotic, unreliable, self-obsessed, NPD, untruthful, uncommitted. She's not even funny, although she clearly thinks she's hilarious and super-cool with all those witty little asides said in a silly voice. I'm struggling to find anything I like - I suppose I could admire the fact that she keeps her fitness going, but even that is mired in untruths and oh-look-at-me-with-my-cracked-ribs etc.

Raffington55 · 16/11/2023 11:24

Looks like the DM article has been taken down! Maybe Mike had something to do with it - and quite right too. Or even the new bf - suddenly discovering how crazy Liz is plastering her/his love life prematurely all over social media!!
