Not the only case by far and many, many within UK & Ireland - some convicted within the last few years alone.
Drugged rapes are off the scale in clubs, concerts, festivals, weddings, anywhere people might be having drinks & there be a major chance of them assuming they were drunk rather than drugged.
And if you think police are bad at investigating ‘normal’ rape? Try reporting drugged rape at all, much less this kind of ongoing rape and abuse within a home, involving drugging, cameras and additional men.
To one such ‘man’ : I know you’re on here, are you affected at all by the disgust at the actions you too committed? Or is it more titillation for you?
And to everyone asking how can the woman in the story recover - ime never completely
Every man in the street, in the supermarket, chemist, cop, doctor, dentist - relatives even - may have watched those videos, and made assumptions as to it being consensual/set up with the woman’s knowledge.
Now think about having to leave the house being that woman, never knowing if the greengrocer handing you back change is smiling because he has seen you being raped, or has raped you himself.
Never feeling safe ever, even at home, because do cops sweep your house for trackers, bugs or hidden cameras? No, no they do not.
So constant state of fear + constantly being actually in danger from perverts approaching & making sly comments about what they’ve seen + complete lack of interest of police/courts (if not outright collusion by individual officers) + comments from friends/family re ‘getting over it by now’
It will take an immense strength of will to survive and ime there is no ‘recovery’ in the usual sense.
