Also any thoughts on why Depp never asked for a pre nup before his marriage to Amber, does this in anyway show Depp's character or could this indicate a certain level of control Amber had.

Whilst Johhny had his addictions I think Amber found this useful to manipulate him financially. She seemed to be in control of who benefitted from his wealth, notably her allies.

And she might have put on that TRO display but audio recordings show she went to his hotel room, obviously terrified of this abuser, trying to get him back. Then ends up taunting him again as she couldn't get her way.
