@GreenTeaPingPong
Which is the best NGO / charity supporting girls and women in Afghanistan (are any still there?)
There is no help.
They've been left to get on with it.
While we can all sit here and judge them from our privileged positions

That is just heartbreaking.
I can remember back in the 1980s when my employer at the time had a joint venture with China. An engineer went to visit their factory and reported a pipe leaking acid as a health and safety issue.
He was told it was cheaper to replace anyone hurt than fix the pipe 😱. He said "there are many Chinese" ☹️
The value of human life is very different in developing and impoverished countries. We are, mostly, very fortunate in the UK.

I honestly don’t know what I would do. Do I let my children starve to death, put them out of their misery myself, or sell them to be raped whenever the man wants it?
It’s a no win situation.
It’s a pity there isn’t a charity that can set up boarding homes and buy the girls themselves to raise. Though I doubt the taliban would allow that anyway

@PersephoneJames
The man being like “this is bad, I’ll have to sell another daughter soon, probably the 2 year old”

What sort of filth sells their child to feed themselves??

The situation is extreme
All funding to Taliban has stopped which means people starving
It’s horrendous
I heard a wonderful story re Baroness Kennedy today. But it’s a drop in the ocean
