"Woman" arrested for raping mother with dementia

Please excuse the Daily Mail link. This person is reported as "she" throughout the article. This person seems to have been arrested for the crime of incest, not rape.
The perversion of the crime, and the perversion of self id have left me speechless. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9857365/Trans-YouTuber-Chris-Chan-faces-incest-charges-involving-79-year-old-dementia-suffering-mom.html

I'm glad they arrested him, though I would have thought rape trumped incest.

Yes, welcome to the new world of gaslighting and bullshit, where men are whatever they say they are.

You will be called a bigot for even suggesting that 'she' is not whatever 'she' says 'she' is.

And this is called progress.

Very sorry Alfonso. I looked but did not see one. I posted because I think some people here collate information.

It is just so devastating on so many levels - not least the utter tragedy and horror for that woman.

This is awful.

It enrages me that the reality of the trauma of the victim is completely ignored in order to pander to the sensitivities of the perpetrator.
The victim was raped by a male with a penis.
Reporting it as anything else is consolidating the abuse and gaslighting her.

The thing that has been playing on mind since I read the article is the fact that the perpetrator is referred to as the 'daughter'. It sickens me that the press respect the perp's reality; their identity as a 'woman' but in doing so they totally ignore the mother's reality. She gave birth to a son. She raised a son. Where is the respect for her reality. Would she really describe her relationship as mother/daughter? I doubt that very much!!

Rape is the act of penetrating someone against their will with your one is.

Whatever this "woman" says she is she has a penis. Surely the law can't change because someone decides their female gender if they still biologically have a penis?

This is a bloody slippery slope if it s allowed. Because every man accused of rape will solely have to say they self id as a woman.

No rape possible - job done Angry

That's true in the UK but not in many other jurisdictions, where rape can be non-consensual penetration of various types. So, while there are a million and one reasons to be concerned about self-ID, getting out of rape allegations on this technicality wouldn't be possible in most of north America (may vary by state).

It is sickening. The whole thing drips with misogyny. Any one raped by her child knows darn well and in the worst possible way that the act was committed by her son.

if it's ģot a penis, it can't be rape, right? Because "women" don't have a penis, obviously?...is the logic they follow.

Another example where a rapist is a "daughter" or "woman" when they commit a crime, while simultaneously women are referred to as a "person with a cervix" when they need a smear test or "person with a vagina" if they need a tampon.

This is a person with a penis, not a fucking (literally) daughter or fucking (literally) woman.

This turns my stomach. Utterly vile crime, and then terrifying oppression of a woman by the state. This state sanctioned denial of reality is re traumatising for victims. But trauma apparently doesn't matter when it is experienced by women.

Misgendering is so terrible that a victim has to lie in court about her male attacker; the police don't mind if their description of a dangerous criminal on the run is highly misleading and it gets a woman silenced on social media. (I think there was an incident where Mermaids misgendered and that was OK. This I find weird because as Mermaids believe in gender ID surely it is far more insulting when they misgender?)

Why so much empathy for transwomen (it is rarely transmen) and so little for the devastating mental and physical toll on women who are traumatised by males and retraumatised by the very institutions that ought to protect them?

Its certainly not a woman, its barely fucking human. Why can the facts not be reported accurately and why can't the charges reflect the facts of the crime. For me its just further proof that these perverse individuals are autogyneaphiliacs and this is probably because they have failed in childhood to identify with their father. Something is going very badly wrong in terms of healthy psychological development, and they need to receive psychiatric treatment not validation or acceptance.

I learned today that the press have to refer to these arseholes as women even if they're not, so for once I'm not going to blame the DM. I blame him for this heinous crime, he's a disgusting man.

That guideline needs changing. The IPSO guidelines, I believe, also are supposed to prohibit misleading reporting.
