Please excuse the Daily Mail link. This person is reported as "she" throughout the article. This person seems to have been arrested for the crime of incest, not rape.

I would hope that most people would agree that Chris should be dealt with seriously, but so should any person who would encourage someone with clear mental disabilities to sexually abuse another person with mental disabilities. Yep and it's still happening to this day. Kiwi farms have unearthed a troll ring, seemingly led by an American college aged girl who - if the leaks are right - sat on the info for over a week before someone shared it against her will. What they were doing/planning to do to Chris easily rivals anything the worst of the previous trolls have come up with...the whole CWC story is a mess from start to finish.

Wow. Just watched the Rose of Dawn video. I'd never heard of Chris Chan. What a disturbing video. He is clearly a very unwell and disturbed individual. How was this family not on an at risk register. Both he and his mother were vulnerable adults. No idea whether he should be in hospital or jail if he is found guilty of the sexual assaults/incest, but he doesn't appear to have the mental capacity to live independently if the video is accurate.

Unbelievable that something like this could get reported as a crime by a "woman" while companies are bending over backwards to erase the word "woman" from tampon packets because that's apparently offensive. It makes me despair of the human race.

Both sad and bonkers that the press have to go along with this. Clearly that person is not a woman, in fact sub human I would say, but will no doubt be added to the soaring numbers of sec crimes committed by 'women's.

Do the press actually have to say woman rather than transwoman? Surely that's not the law.

That's a good point. In my experience, when crimes are committed by transwomen they are described as women; conversely, when they are victims of crimes they are described as transwomen.

That is how the press deal with any kind of sensitive issue, such as religion and ethnicity.

In other words, think critically. Don't just accept what you read / hear. Question what details you don't hear - they are often just as important.
