Great news, and this paragraph indicates why it's not just about sex workers and affects all of us,

"But since its introduction, the scheme has been subject to complaints about soliciting on streets beyond the bounds of the scheme and reports of men making unwelcome approaches to women not involved in street sex work when they are on residential streets."

When I worked in an office at Kings Cross I used to get hassled all the time just walking around or waiting for a bus.

Incredible! And jaw-dropping that it took this long!

Fantastic news! Amazed its taken this long, should never have been implemented and should have been discontinued a long long time ago but at least its changing now.

She definitely does on the Save our Eyes / Voice of Holbeck joint statement released earlier

Excellent news. It wasn't only women being harassed either, also girls, wearing uniform, on their way to school.

This news made my day. I hope the council will deliver on their promised ongoing support program for sex-workers.

Sarah Field is still a Councillor, in my patch. I didn't realise she was so involved with this. Great news!
