Mirtazaprine to Sertraline.

Had my Mirtazapine changed to Sertraline. Has anyone done this before?

Slight concerns over the effects of stopping one AD combined with the starting of another. Told her i had been actively planning to 'disappear' but that i wasn't sure i was going to do it - which is true. I am to go back in 2 weeks but i have to ring her in 1 just for a "chat". I think she wants to check I am still here tbh.

Can i drink alcohol with this? I can only find info that says moderation with SSRIs which is fine. Mirtazapine was a flat out no.

I drink in moderation on mirtazapine. Don't know about sertraline TBH

Thanks GDYWF. I was told not to drink on Mirt as it heightens the effect of the alcohol. I tried it and it was fab that i got drunk quicker but the low afterwards was pretty hard work!
