Hate feeling like this

Not sure what to say here. Just feeling very sad and down. I have a beautiful boy, almost 17 months now, and a supportive partner. I should be happy. But I'm so tired and everything feels like a struggle. Have lost touch with friends as I never have time for them between working and being at home with my boy. Hate feeling like this.I have good days and bad days, today is not so good one.

Bryanna - so sorry to hear you are feeling like this. I do wonder if you have mild depression as the things you mention certainly fit with some of the symptoms of anxiety and depresssion. I suggest you visit your GP and get some help. He/she may be prepared to prescribe some medication that might lift you. This is a very common illness (that I have suffered from in the past) and I think about a third of all patients the drs see have this kind of illness and so will have heard it all before many times. It is also typical to have good days and bad days and you have a heavy schedule by the sound of it with working and caring for your little boy.

Hope you can get some help and that there will be better times ahead.

Could well be PND Bryanna, especially if the bad days outweigh the good.

I agree with NanaNina, Gp's pronto!

Thanks NanaNina and Nemofish for your messages.. I don't have many people to talk to. It helped just to write things down. Will go and see a GP as soon as. I do think I need it.

I hope you both have a good day.

Bryanna, just wanted to back up the GP suggestion.

And to say that I have a 17 month old (as well as 2 other dc's) and that I am constantly juggling work and children. And that I have up days and down days.

I have been on AD's for over a year and have just increased the dose becuase I am having more down days.

I don't really know why I'm telling you about me - other than maybe to let you know there are other people in the same position.

Make sure you see your GP asap - even doing that can sometimes make you feel better because you know you are doing something.

Hope you start to feel better soon. x
