Sertraline - (AD/anxiety pill) Side effect - Gagging?

I started this pill yesterday and I'm just gagging all the time.

I just feel like theres something pressing on my gag reflex, its horrible

Hi, I have taken this, but don't remember any gagging feeling - just the fortnight of fatigue when I was coming off it. Diet coke all the way. Hope someone else has more useful info for you!

Stick with it Dis3, you will sometimes get side effects, check out wikipedia, there's a huge article on sertraline. The effects only lasted a few days for me. The thought of getting better is what got me through the first week, and I did. No probs coming off it either. Keep going!!!!!

Hi, I was on it for a while (just a few weeks), can't remember much but remember feeling like I was going to be sick in the nights, I think it lasted about a week.

The gaggng has lessened now, seems worse when I'm hungr.

Ears are still aching and got a bit of a headache.

I googed it and lots of peple have reported the gagging thing, so I'm not mad

How long did the side effect of gagging continue for anyone who has experienced this?

Make sure you take it with lots of water. I didn’t have the gagging but once when I just took it with a handful of water from the tap it felt as if it was stuck in my throat and gave me terrible heartburn.
