Well here to listen whenever you want to. How's your daughter?

FabIsGoingToGetFit · 05/06/2010 19:43

We just want to help.

willsurvivethis · 05/06/2010 19:57

Mitchy you ahve said very little but in what you've said you don't 'sound' well at all. This is a safe place - possibly the least judgeypants board on the whole of MN.

kizzie · 06/06/2010 20:28

Thinking of u mitchy x

MitchyInge · 07/06/2010 18:45

hoping will be ok with crisis team, really frightened of going back into hospital even tho nobody has suggested it

think is just loads and loads and loads of stress but have had 3 mood swings in as many months when usually don't have even one a year, am usually well for years

is really rubbish timing as one daughter still in hospital and is one of few times when wish had partner or family around, but then might not have found such amazing friends who are so supportive through choice rather than obligation?

OP posts:
kizzie · 07/06/2010 19:46

:-( sorry its such a really difficult time.
Glad the crisis team are supporting you.

Sorry I dont know whats been going on but it does sound like its been an incredibly stressful time for you x

MitchyInge · 11/06/2010 13:33

So far I really don't like the crisis team but is better than an admission but also probably just don't know how to make it work for me?

Saw psychiatrist today who said it is a mixed episode which don't usually have so am weighing up whether or not to try to read about it although I know in theory it is a clash of high and low together. Just feel dreadful all the time apart from when riding, but have ridden so much lately my hands are bleeding and entire body hurts.

kizzie · 11/06/2010 23:15

Oh mitchy I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this. Does it help at all to know that you have come through all previous episodes and that will happen again this time? I'm sorry I don't have more pratical advice but I am thinking of you. Take care xxx

MitchyInge · 12/06/2010 12:18

Thanks kizzie, have not even asked how you are? hope things have improved for you

have surges of wellbeing between all the really dark times which must be feature of 'mixed state', things must be better today because it does seem plausible that it could be a discrete episode as opposed to all the other things have been wailing about - such as 'this is the one I won't come out of'

it's a bit demoralising to have so many changes to meds but maybe will work out for best in long term

is hard to make the right choices though and not follow mad impulses

MitchyInge · 12/06/2010 12:23

Hospital only been suggested twice so my anxiety about that is definitely on the wane, I know they have to offer it but wish they wouldn't as takes more getting over than the actual episode I think?

OP posts:
kizzie · 14/06/2010 13:52

Hi Mitchy - glad things seem to be calming down slightly and you can think it through a bit more clearly.

I see to be doing ok - thanks for asking. Still anxiety some days but coping better with it. Fingers crossed it continues.

I too get the 'this will be the one I wont come out of' - I guess we just have to go on the balance of probabilities. Weve always come out of it before - and so we can again.

Hope this week is better x

MitchyInge · 14/06/2010 15:00

This week definitely better, wish had knuckled down to treatment sooner instead of hiding from them

glad to hear you are on mend too

idea has been planted in my mind that am rapid cycling and mood will shoot up soon which is not a good thing, unless new meds hold it somewhere in middle

OP posts:
MitchyInge · 14/06/2010 19:46

Is hard to find out much about mixed episodes, annoyingly.
