Just started Sertraline.

Just had 2nd sertraline tablet after coming of Citalopram. I think I can feel it kicking in. I feel a bit sick, slightly drowsy and a slight pleasant rush all over body. Has anyone else had sertraline, what were your experiences please, did it help, side effects etc.

I had most of the symptoms that you've mentioned and a feeling of nausea...it passes after a few days though

I felt a bit 'removed' sort of drunk for a while. The effects on my anxiety were within a tablet or two, effects on my depression took about 7 weeks, just as the Dr was about to change to something else, they suddenly started working and I felt a whole lot better. I initially started on a very small dose though as I was breastfeeding.

I always feel sick when I'm stressed so didn't notice any difference, did have a dry mouth though for the first few weeks.

They have worked well for me for a while though now.
