So anxious

I'm feeling anxious over everything and the result is that it's paralysing me. I can't do anything because I can't stop thinking of everything else that needs doing and can't prioritise. I'm so worried now about the kind of parent I am to my kids and passing the depression on. Not sure what to do with all this.

Hi racingheart,

Have you spokend to GP/HV about it??

I would suggest you go speak to HP that you trust. They can help!

How long have you been feeling like this? I am also and anxiety sufferer, but it has gotton a lot better with time - thank goodness!

Here if you want to chat x x x

Thanks Yommy, I don't usually have anxiety like this - with physical symptoms (racing heart!) I'm used to depression but this is new. Think I'll have to go to the GP. I'm just so worried about what she'll prescribe. (Another anxiety!)

Citalopram works but I just can't afford to take it at the moment as I'm too busy and it makes me fall asleep standing up. i wish they could give something that counteracts the sleepiness. Last time she prescribed sleeping pills with the citalopram. I'd still be under the duvet two years on if I'd taken them too!
