Unfortunately feeling this way is normal for want of a better word for up to six weeks.

The best thing to do is talk about it as much as you need to - over and over again.

I recommend you get in touch with Victim Support who can allocate someone to give you support.

And bear in mind that your DP has a vested interest in you pulling yourself together - a lessening of his guilt - after all it was his ex-P who did this.

DP is being typical man saying pull yourself together - it's not that easy! He's trying to help, so have to tried explaining how you feel? Also is he feeling guilty because it's his ex that has done this?

I'm sorry, I've no sage advice for you, but feeling for you

She has invaded your safe, personal space - making you feel extremely violated.

Have you thought about an injunction against her - stopping her from coming within 100m of you, DP and kids? Solicitors should be able to help. She may flout it but the consequences of her doing so may be jail.

You can contact Victim Support directly. They are helpful and just for you
