My 1 and 3 yr olds are crap sleepers.Have tried all the usual etc etc
The main prob is how it affects me though in the day - i amsooo tearful and depressed ad emotional -
left work at 9am today purely coz was so emotional and tired and overwhelmed.
I am thinking of quitting my p/t job but don't now whether it's a lame reason to jack in my 'career'

i wish i could just have a fry up/coffee and get on with it followed by an early night (i.e. as partner does) but it makes me feel TRUELY terrible.

anyone had similar - have been to gp, on meds etc etc - but sitation continues...

You don't need meds, you need practical and emotional support. At the very least, persuade your partner to let you take a night off. Assuming he doesn't work Saturdays, book yourself into a hotel Friday night and let him look after the kids overnight. Get yourself a blissful night's sleep and a full English breakfast Saturday morning. Chill out, then go for a massage. Chill out some more. Go home Saturday evening. Your partner will never have been so pleased to see you! ;-)
