chronic adjustment disorder?

Anyone had or known anyone be diagnosed with an adjustment disorder?

I was wondering if you could tell me the symptoms the person had?

My ex husband was diagnosed with it, but had no treatment at the time, I gather he is having counselling now though, I just wonder if he was misdiagnosed, as some of his symptoms are worrying, and I can't see much about this condition on the net, he has no contact with the children at present, but I am concerned for the future, thanks x

I have being seeing a counsellor recently after an extremely traumatic birth, my daughter arrived 7 weeks early. The counsellor thinks i have adjustment disorder, although, i have not been 'diagnosed'. I am very down, cry a lot, have horendous nightmares, and debilitating flashbacks.
