Have any MN mums left their DH and DC to start a new life?

Will I regret it it if I leave?

Why do you want to leave???

Dh and I are constantly arguing. Dh is self employed and is struggling financially and is always too exhausted to help or to even spend time with ds. He seems to just get up and go to work, and then come home, get ready to go to work, or sleep or needs to unwind or play football with his friends.

I am left with ds ALL the time. Ds sleeps in the same bed as me and dh has moved to another room. It has been like this for the last 3 years and I just don't know where to start or what to do. I am mentally and physically so exhausted all the time.

is one thing being a parent, it's another thing managing a relationship.

You may find it easier being a parent if you don't have to manage a failed relationship.

Hi Zahora,

I am in agreement with APT. Its sounds like you are really fed up with DH! How is your relationship with DS??? Why don;t you speak to your DH and tell him how you are feeling? If he doesn;t listen or want to make changes then its time for you to make some of your own!

Do you have any family you and DS could go stay with for a wee break??
