I have found myself getting really angry with ds(6) I find myself shouting at him for what are on the whole minor things I know that I am doing it but find it very hard to calm down. When I have calmed down I feel really guilty.

They really know how to push your buttons don't they! My DS, also 6, is also going through a phase of 'No'! He's always been quite amenable, not really had any tantrums etc, so its come as a bit of a shock. It's hard but I've had to revert to the counting to 10 technique and hope he does what I ask! I think it maybe an age phase where they're getting their own minds and hopefully it'll get better?!
