Starting on Escitalopram

Just started on it today 5mg and a bit concerned after reading leaflet and what I have seen on here. I really don't want to start on something that I will get addicted to. Worried about the side effects too.

you cant get physically addicted to escitalopram but you can develop a mental dependance..so be aware of it. Its not like diazpam and sleeping tablets.

You are only on a low dosage any way so try not to worry

hey BB how are you getting on with your escitalopram? I've been on it for about 4 months now, the first 2 weeks were hellish with side effects but is pretty good now - is giving me the space to be able to sort my life out a little bit at a time.
