had fluoxetine dose doubled 2 weeks ago and feel like crap

been on 20mg for 2 years, felt really crappy and few weeks ago and gp doubled the dose. since then i have been v. tired lethargic and have put on about a stone cos i can't stop comfort eating. anyone else have a similar experience or are these symtoms of my underlying depression.

I was on 60mg, have just come off the because of the pregnancy. But for the first maybe month of my dose being upped each time, I felt crap, basically. Just try and see if you feel any better over the next few weeks, and mention to your GP or whoever is perscribing them to you how you've been feeling. If these feelings persist, theres a possibility you're on too high a dosage. Just give it a shot, and remember you're not alone.

i am so tempted to just throw them away, i am really struggling with the tiredness etc.

decided to go back onto 20mg as i just felt too weird on 40. i felt unsafe driving etc.
