Been on ADs etc in the past, but it's bad nightmares that are plaguing me now... is that 'treatable'?

Thanks

Don't know I'm afraid but beta-blockers gave me terrible nightmares. Are you on any medication at the moment?

Nothing

There is medication for night terrors where you are so agitated that you thrash about etc. Is that what's going on?

erm... dont think so. I am asleep, I do physically feel alot of them though

Hmm, do you think you are staying in
REM for too long? Not able to get to a deeper sleep? Perhaps a short course of sleeping pills or something like valerian. Melatonin gave me weird dreams.

is that the light sleep? I do get them more when I get up to go to the loo and doze off... I can't take too much as breastfeeding/co-sleeping... Do you only get nightmares in light sleep?

I can't remember all the phases but there's a drifting off-type sleep, then REM with dreaming, then deeper with no remembered dreams. It could be because you are co-sleeping/bfing since you are probably never getting to a really deep sleep. And I know how that is! (ds2 )

Yeah, my sleepis made up of a series of naps really... I'll maybe see GP Friday. Thanks
