Why am I so emotional?

I have noticed in the past week that I am becoming ridiculously over-emotional at really small things.

For example, the theme music from willow made me cry the other day. Just read a post about a lady who lost her grandad and has his jumper. Really bawled.

I don't understand why I'm such a weepy wreck?

I'm not stresed or depressed or due on or anything?

Anyone help?

Is it posible to be depressed or stressed without knowing you are IYSWIM?

Have you any other sympptoms? Not enjoying things, exhausted (more than normal!), off sex, off food...?

Yes, definitely.

Any chance you're pg?

Am very tired. Getting a lot of sleep though. No other symptoms really.

No chance of being pg!

Do you feel well?
Could you maybe be anaemic or have thyroid issues? They can make you tired and feel low. Or yes, you could be depressed. You would need to check it out with your doc, but whatever the problem, it is treatable!

Been feeling a bit light-headed for a while but never connected it. I did have borderline thyroid issues when i was pg with DS2, he's nearly one now, so maybe I'll go back to the GP and get him to do a blood test.

Thanks for your help though. Thought I was going mad for a while.

Not going mad at all!
Hope you get on fine at the GP. They will probably run a full blood count, liver function and thyroid thingmy to check you over. I don't know much about thyroid problems other than the horribe symptoms, but aparrently the TSH something or other doesn't always pick it up and there is another one worth doing too. If you ask under the General Health topic, someone will be able to tell you. It has numbers in it - that's all I can remember! T something or other. Apparently, the TSH count thing can appear fine and not uncover the thyroid dysfunction. So, there you go.
Excuse the vagueness!

Tiredness would certainly contribute- I get so grumpy and irrational when I'm tired.
