Saw psych on the 13th.

Rang me a few days later to give me some phone numbers.

Told her I had tried to kill myself.

She said she didn't think I would do it again.

I told her I never thought I would ever.

The next morning I really wanted too again and had to get up so I distracted myself.

said she would speak to the man who can sort out help on Thursday and ring me.

Nothing since.

My GP told me the psych service was crap.

Aw Nabster, she DOES sound crap! Don't let someone else's incompetence make you feel rubbish, PLEASE!

How are you feeling now? Have you got any friends who can support you? Can you go back to the GP?

I was that close to picking up the phone to my GP.

I would ring the gp again, make a nuisance of yourself and they will soon organise someone for you to talk to! You deserve better than someone who is crap at their job!

What I want to say is this

Go for it girl, ring them!! You know yourself and you've asked for help. You deserve that help and are not getting it. Let them know. They won't know if someone isn't doing their job if no-one tells them.

No one at the surgery or hospital.
Rang the emotional support line first to see if that was near to her but it isn't. You can ring them and talk to them for up to 20 minutes a day.

How can there be nobody at the surgery at this time? There must be emergency telephone numbers.

Have you got a paper bag handy? Sounds like a panic attack. Breathe slowly and deeply into the bag, and your breathing rate should soon slow down.

I once rang about this time and was told it was emergencies only and to ring the next day. That time I just wanted to leave a message for my GP. There is probably someone there, just not answering.

Have got the washing on, potaotes boiling to make fishcakes, chocolate melting to make rice crispie cakes and after I have had some brekfast I am going to tackle the huge pile of clothes that need putting away.
