Doc has upped my Citalopram dose - how long before it takes effect?

I have been on 40mg for over a year now, and the doc has just put me onto 60mg, which he says is the maximum dose. How long before the increased dosage takes effect?

I think its different for each individual but usually quicker than when you initially started the meds. ie if it took 6 weeks for them to work before it should be much quicker for the increase to kick in.

I was on sertraline and the increase took effect within a fortnight whereas the initial start off took longer.
