I got pregnant whilst on the pill.

I think it was when I went away for a night and forgot to take it.

I was talking about the trip to my sister and said that for all I knew I was pregnant already.

She said "Aha! I thought you said you got pregnant on that trip because you forgot your pill!"

I got so flummoxed I just ummed and ah-ed at her.

I told my dp and he says everybody thinks I got pregnant on purpose!

I feel so horrendous that this is what they think of me, it has really brought back my panicky feelings taht I was trying to knock on the head

Why would they think that? Are you sure they "all" think that? Is your DP generally supportive or a bit of a wind-up merchant?

Please think calmly through this - your DP might just be projecting his feelings outwards, it is unlikely that everyone thinks you got pg to "trap" him (is he that great?).

I don't think I'm being much help here - just trying to say that you need to take deep breaths and keep the panic away.

How long have you guys been together?

It's unhealthy for 'others' to even have an influence on your relationship (of course, they may or maynot have an opinion - that you can't stop!)

Everyone thought that about me and dh, people who don't know us very well would even comment on it! We were married in october, and are really happy. These people had to take back what they said and at the end of the day we had the last laugh.

Also, i really don't think its possible to trap someone, not now anyway, and i think the huge numbers of single parents speak loud and clear that if two people don't want to be together, it doesn't matter how many kids they may have.

The most important thing is you, dp and baby, sod everyone else!
