twinsetandpearls · 01/03/2009 04:03

I think I can remember talking to you actually, had a differnt name them didnt you. I still only sleep for a few hours in the week, 4 at most usually between 2 and 3 and then sleep as long as I can at the weekend. Driveds dp nuts. I hate that crap feeling in the morning, nearlty every day I stand in the shower almost sobbing with exhaustion thinking tonight I will sleep.

twinsetandpearls · 01/03/2009 04:09

Is there anyone at home who can get up with them? Can you not leave them in front of my c beebies?

Chuffinknackered · 01/03/2009 04:13

yes...was gremlin then. god i really know the feelin you described. i just hate feeling so crap. I really want to enjoy my kids and am so envious of other mums who can manage their lives so much more effectivekly and not let their stress levels get so high like me.

twinsetandpearls · 01/03/2009 04:14

I bet more of us feel like you than you realise

Chuffinknackered · 01/03/2009 04:14

well ijust seem to know very sorted, calm, happy mums. I am a freaking fruitcake. Snd if other mums feel these things what are they doing that I am not that means that I can't slepp...I know I put myself last but it is a difficult pattern to break...

twinsetandpearls · 01/03/2009 04:17

I have just looked back at the other thread, it was a year ago and I was up late because I had been doing school work then as well!

People think I am calm but it is all for show, I think we all have fruitcake moments

Chuffinknackered · 01/03/2009 04:18

you a teacher too?

OP posts:
twinsetandpearls · 01/03/2009 04:20

Yes, did not realise you were a teacher, although you did say you were doing something with the head,

There are lots of stressed fruitcake teachers as well, you are definetly not alone.

Chuffinknackered · 01/03/2009 04:24

yep....yes...3 hour rehearsal and the head wil be playing the piano...like i said, I will find it hard to pretend I am fine and dandy and can cope with everything looking awful and hardly being able to string a coherent sentence together!! lol
Bollocks to it all, eh!
